Internship opportunity at LGP2 - Feb-July 2026 - Blood infections, mainly of bacterial origin, represent a major public health issue. A preliminary study has led to the development of an electrochemical sensor capable of detecting the presence of bacteria in the blood and identifying the bacterial species. Ongoing project: to propose a standardized solution for equipping commercial blood culture bottles with this electrochemical sensor, using a manufacturing process that can be industrialized, namely screen printing. This would improve the repeatability and reproducibility of the sensors, facilitating their large-scale integration.
